Book Giveaway - A Tapestry of Spells by Lynn Kurland

Sarah’s brother has embraced the dark arts, vowing to destroy the Nine Kingdoms, and she doesn’t have the power to stop him. Now she must risk everything to thwart his plans, even though she fears the quest will reveal the secret she’s kept all her life.
After seeing his entire family slain by magic, Ruithneadh swore never to use his power again. But when Sarah pleads for his help, he’s thrust back into a life of enchantments and peril, and a quest capable of unraveling the entire fabric of the Nine Kingdoms.
Lynn Kurland is an amazing writer and truly lovely person. I met her at the Utah RWA Writer's Conference last fall, bought her book, With Every Breath, and have been a fan since. She writes PG-rated romance. Isn't that wonderful?

  1. Fantasy books allow you to recreate yourself into whoever you want to be. I love allowing my imagination to expand to incorporate the many different worlds available.

  3. I'm a follower. Life is too serious and reading fantasy takes you where it's not possible in real life. A tapestry of spells sounds like a good read.

  4. How fun! I enjoyed her previous three Nine Kingdoms novels and didn't know she wrote another one. Thanks, Cami!

I haven't read very much fantasy, but I enjoy experiencing the magic of an unknown land and allowing my imagination a little more freedom.

I tweeted at Rachellewrites and FB'd, am a follower, and I love fantasy because I can escape this world and enter another. I've loved reading fantasy since I was a kid and thoroughly enjoy all of the awesome new books that have come out lately in this genre.

  9. I didn't read much fantasy until my oldest started choosing them for our nightly readings. It's been fun to explore different worlds and ideas.

  10. I have long been a reader of fantasy. CS Lewis, Tolkien, Terry Brooks, & Robert Jordan in my younger years. Lately I've been reading the Fable Haven books and enjoy them immensely.

I love the basic theme of Good triumphing over Evil which most fantasy books (at least the ones I've read) seem to have. There seems to be too many times that evil seems to "get away with it" in real life. It is nice to escape to a world where Good wins out!

  11. I follow your blog every day. Every living person needs some sort of fantasy in their life. It is what keeps me going. I guess you could say that I need an escape from reality. This has to be one of the things that makes the world go around.
