Book Review and Giveaway - Texas Roads

A disillusioned widow must choose between her new-found home and guarding a secret. Then a devastating discovery leads her down a road she never expected to travel...
TEXAS ROADS is a love story about one woman's quest to find home.
Texas Roads is a delightful story of heartache, romance, and home. I fell in love with the characters of Miller's Creek and cannot wait to read the sequel to this touching book. I have to admit that it did take me a bit of time to get into the story, but once I became attached I really became attached. I even dropped the book into my bathtub and was sad when I finished, knowing I'd miss my friends from Miller's Creek.

  4. I think I'm just a very impatient reader. I make my boys give a book at least fifty pages before they put it down (unless it scares them or has crude language or something) and I try to follow that rule myself. I'm usually very grateful I did!

  5. Hi everyone! So sorry I'm late getting here. We've been on the road this week, and the past few nights had no internet in our hotel room. Cami, I appreciate you taking the time to read TEXAS ROADS, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm an impatient reader, too, but I like your 50-page rule since I make myself do the same thing! =) Thanks everyone for dropping by. I appreciate it so much!

  11. Thanks everyone for the new entries and Cathy for stopping by.
Thanks, Lil Kym. I worried that it sounded too cheesy. Wasn't quite sure how to explain my prudishness and not sound like a goof!

  18. It's fun to hear from everyone. I really feel like I need to clarify - it took me a minute to get into the book but I think it's because I was distracted, I'm betting most of you will think I was crazy to say that when you read it. The characters are really delightful.

Barb - I'd love to be on your site anytime. Thanks for following!
