Used Books?

What do you do with books after you read them? I rarely re-read a book (except for childrens and the scriptures), but I'm always torn about what to do with my books after I've enjoyed them.
Do you donate them to the library, share them with friends and family, recycle them (oh, that makes me cringe), or dedicate a room in your house as your book shrine?

  1. I totally have a book shrine!

  2. I rarely re-read books too so I am in the same boat you're in. I do share my books with friends, I donate the ones I did not like and I keep most of the ones I read and truly liked.

  3. I love re-reading my books especially the really good ones.

  4. That's awesome, Lexie. I'm jealous. Maybe I could move one of my boys out of their room!
I should re-read more, but there's always such a list I want to read I can never catch up.

  5. I re-read them and try to share them with friends as much as I can remember.

  6. I can't imagine recycling books. I'd feel too guilty. I share them with family and friends and then at times I will want to read a certain book because I remember the story line or am in the mood to read it and I'll have it, so I get to read it! I don't think I could give my books away. Maybe I should just start my own little library :)

  7. As an author, I think it's a wonderful thing for people to share books with friends and family. It might not mean a book sale, but it might bring the author a new fan and that is a wonderful thing.
I also love sharing my books with our library because we live in a small town and I know they're on a tight budget.

I love comments! Thanks for taking the time to make me feel happy.
