Radio talk shows

As I drove home from the gym this morning the song ended and the morning talk show hosts started chatting. I immediately changed the channel, then I felt a bit of guilt. As an author I've been featured on different radio talk shows and hoped that someone tuned in. My unconscious reaction of changing the channel when I heard talking instead of music made me wonder if anyone is listening to the chat anymore or if we all just want to get back to the music.

  1. Do you mean FM talk or AM talk? There's a big difference between the two.

  2. I occasionally listen to the AM political talk shows, but usually just listen to music stations on FM.

I just had my first radio interview taped this week and I hope people will listen to it. However, I totally understand your blog post because I also feel guilty about changing channels when the music stops and people start talking.

  3. Either - morning talk shows when they shoot the breeze between music or serious talk shows on AM.
Joanne - What's the link for your radio interiew? I think it's easier to listen on the computer.

I love comments! Thanks for taking the time to make me feel happy.
