Comments?
I am amazed how many times someone will tell me how they loved one of my blog posts (and they know enough about it that they must've read it) but they didn't leave a comment.
I love comments but I've also been guilty of reading a blog post and being in too big of a hurry to comment or having nothing worthwhile to add.
Let me just say that the comments you leave on my blog do not have to clever or funny. I'm thrilled with, "Nice post." "Something to think about" or "You should be happy I left a comment." The last one was from my sister, I believe.
Do you leave comments or are you lucky to find time to glance at your favorite blogs?

I'm usually lucky to have time to glance at my favorite blogs (When I check in the morning there's usually about 350 new things in my RSS reader... and this is after I tried to cut down). But I am guilty of commenting far less often than I read. Usually, there are a lot of wonderful comments before I come in and I feel like I'm rehashing what's already been said.
ReplyDeleteI'm tryint to make an effort to comment more, though. Because I notice that I get a lot of views for my blog and various pages but very few comments. And sometimes, it kicks me in the gut.
That's exactly what I'm feeling.
DeleteThanks for commenting!
Im no good at commenting!Richelle gave me your books to read! She sure loves u :-)
ReplyDeleteHolly
Ahh, I love her too! I hope you enjoy the books.
DeleteI sometimes leave comments, but not too often.
ReplyDeleteThanks for leaving one today!
DeleteHow about this: You are awesome, Cami! I've never met you but I feel like I already know you (crazy what this blogging community does..."virtual" friends and all). I really enjoy checking your blog with my precious and minimal blogging time! :)
ReplyDeleteLaura
Lo! I love you. Thanks for being my friend.
DeleteI love comments, and try to always leave them. I figure if I stopped by the site/blog, and their words kept me long enough to read to the end, I want them to know. And get thanks for entertaining me!
ReplyDeleteGreat question! I should post this on my blog! (I wonder if you'll get more comments on this post than most?:)
You're so cute Jen. I wondered the same thing, guilt them into commenting!
DeleteYour idea coincides with mine.and I think it's better.
