LDS Storymakers Conference

The LDS Storymakers Conference was amazing (as always). In my experience, the LDS Storymakers put on the best conference - fabulous presenters, fun events, great food, and a wonderful feeling of camraderie.

The coolest moment was when JoLynne Lyon, a friend and critique partner, won the Grand Prize in the First Chapter contest. What an amazingly talented lady. I can hardly wait to announce that she's secured a huge book deal.

Another critique partner, Amber Argyle, presented a superb class on Magic. Her book, Witch Song, is my favorite paranormal read of all time.

I was able to meet in person some wonderful friends who I formally only knew as online buddies. I also made some great new friends, laughed until I cried, and was very grateful for a supportive husband and family so I can pursue my dreams of becoming a writer.

Thank you to the LDS Storymakers Conference Committee for a wonderful weekend.

What's your favorite conference?
