What to Expect

Isn't there an expression, "Lazy Days of Summer" or something like that. Does anybody's life actually slow down in the summer? Between camps, summer projects, yardwork, and nonstop playtime with buddies we are insane busy. A friend asked my 6yo if he was liking being out of school. He said, "No. All I do is jobs!" Doesn't his Momma wish that was the case.
But I do love summer, especially all the free labor with my boys out of school (haha). They are pretty good helpers and I figure some day their wives are going to appreciate them knowing how to scrub a toilet with a toothbrush.
The makers of What to Expect contacted me about doing reviews and giveaways of their books on my blog. How cool is that? I haven't read the What to Expect the Second Year so it will be perfect to reread the others and focus on the second year. Hopefully the book will teach me what to do about these 21mo temper tantrums!
I hope you're all having a fabulous summer. If you've found a way to slow it down, please let me know!

  2. Haha! I wish I knew a way to slow down summer. It's racing by too fast. Have fun doing your review...and keeping your boy busy with 'jobs.'

    1. Thanks Charissa! I saw a great T-shirt the other day, "Life goes too fast, running makes it seem slower." Guess I need to run more!

I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this informative article together.
I once again find myself personally spending a lot of time both reading and posting comments.

But so what, it was still worth it!
