Keep Your Diamonds Sparkling

My darling friend, Rachelle Christensen is an expert at DIY techniques. I loved this easy way to keep your diamonds sparkling because I love my wedding ring and it gets pretty filthy. She shares this tip in her book, Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things, and she is one of the authors featured in Christmas Kisses: An Echo Ridge Anthology.

 Keep Your Diamonds Sparkling

A little tip from Rachelle

I've been married to my sweetheart, Steve, for 17 years and this is the diamond ring he gave me all those years ago. It's been through a lot of wear, had to be re-pronged and frequently is dirty since I have five kids and endless household chores.
I only get it cleaned when I go to the mall, and the shop we bought it from checks and cleans it, so if you look closely in the picture, you can see it isn't sparkling today because I don't go shopping much.

Here's a great little solution that only takes five minutes to keep your diamond sparkling!

Soak your diamond ring in a warm solution of liquid dish
detergent and water for five minutes.

Use a soft brush if necessary
to remove dirt. Soft is the key—don’t use a brush with bristles that
are stiff enough to scratch the ring’s metal setting.

Swish the ring
around in the solution and then place it in a colander (so you don’t
lose it down the drain).

Rinse it thoroughly in warm water. Dry with
a lint-free cloth.

Now look at that diamond ring sparkle! Hopefully you can tell a difference from the pictures. If not, try it, you'll definitely smile when you notice the difference on your own ring!

Carlos is no stranger to hard times and slowly shares his life of light and joy with Anika as they work together. Just as her fragile soul begins to feel hope again, an ill-timed act of charity changes everything. Enjoy the Season by Cami Checketts

Tis the season to enjoy time with loved ones, reflect on the marvelous gift of our Savior's birth, reach out a helping hand to those in need, and cuddle in front of the tree with hot cocoa and cookies. Christmas is a wonderful time of year filled with joyful moments, but I find myself becoming so crazy busy I can hardly fit in a workout and who wants to eat health when the neighbors are bringing over fudge. I’m definitely a believer in savoring that fudge but I also thought of a few ways that I keep my body feeling somewhat healthy throughout the season.

1- Only eat something if it is truly a Christmas treat. Just because they make Oreos with red and green filling does not mean they're an exclusive Christmas treat, but Aunt Abbie's peppermint dessert? That's worth savoring.

2 - Turn on Christmas music and dance. My boys think Mom spinning to the Nutcracker is hilarious.

3 - Go ice-skating, sledding, snow-shoeing, or cross-country skiing. Try out a new sport, the variety is great for improving physical fitness and the challenge is wonderful for your mind.

4 - Go for a walk outside. When the temperature is below 50 you burn more calories - it's worth it to freeze the tip of your nose but if it's so cold your eyelashes crystallize you'd better take it to the treadmill.

5 - Bake your favorite treats, have a sample, then take them to all the neighbors. The visits will be almost as fun as the baked goods.

6 - Enjoy your family and forget about everything else. Play with your kids. Read Christmas stories and thrive on their childlike joy. Snuggle up with your sweetheart and burn some calories kissing in front of the tree.

7 - Focus on the Savior and following his example of love and service, the real reason we celebrate this blessed holiday, and the joy will continue throughout the new year.

Merry Christmas!

My Review:
What a fun collection! I really enjoyed each of the books. All by my Selfie was probably my favorite, it's hard to resist a Scottish hottie, but they really were all great clean romance and I loved the theme of castles.

About the Authors Cindy M. Hogan is inspired by the unpredictable teenagers she teaches. More than anything she loves the time she has with her own teenage daughters and wishes she could freeze them at this fun age. If she's not reading or writing, you'll find her snuggled up with the love of her life watching a great movie or planning their next party. Most of all, she loves to laugh. Jo Noelle grew up in Colorado and Utah but also lived in Idaho and California. She has two adult children and three small kids. She teaches teachers and students about reading and writing, grows freakishly large tomatoes, enjoys cooking, builds furniture, sews beautiful dresses, and goes hiking in the nearby mountains. Oh, and she’s two people, Canda Mortensen and Deanna Henderson, a mother/daughter writing team. Donna K. Weaver: A wife, mother, grandmother, Harry Potter geek, Navy brat, Army veteran, and karate black belt. Donna is an avid cruiser, having sailed the Pacific five times. She’s lived in South Korea, the Philippines, Germany, and many US states. She and her husband raised six children and currently have nine grandchildren. Paige Timothy has been writing for as long as she can remember… and probably before that, too, because her memory gets spotty at a certain point. She loves watching romantic comedies, blushes when the characters do something embarrassing, and sighs in all the right places. Kaye P. Clark was born in New York City, grew up in southern California and raised her family living on remote cattle ranches in Arizona. She now makes her home in Idaho where she works part-time at the county library and teaches art to young children. She’s a mother and grandmother with a very patient husband who puts up with her passion for writing.   $25 Blog Tour giveawayBlog Tour Giveaway $25 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash Ends 11/1/15 Open only to those who can legally enter, receive and use an Amazon.com Gift Code or Paypal Cash. Heather Tullis

Last in the lineup, but certainly not least, is Heather Tullis. Honestly, I can't believe what this woman can get done. She has blessed me with her talent over the past five years as my book formatter and we've worked together on other projects. I cannot believe how smart and talented she is. Plus patient with me when I make mistakes! So, getting to the point, I'd like to introduce you to

Bestselling Author Heather Tullis

Heather Tullis ebook pic HEATHER TULLIS has been reading romance for as long as she can remember and has been publishing in the genre since 2009. That's amazing! Do you know how many people start out to write a book and never finish and she's been at this over 6 years!! She has published more than twenty books. Ta-da! See what I mean about being organized and needing her energy? When she’s not dreaming up new stories to write, or helping out with her community garden, she enjoys playing with her dogs and cat, inventing new ways to eat chocolate, (now you know why we get along!) and hanging out with her husband. You can connect with Heather at http://heathertullis.com/ or at http://www.facebook.com/HeatherTullisBooks

On the Lighter Side

This has become my favorite part about the spotlight because I get to learn something new about each woman. When asked to give me 5 random facts about herself, this is what Heather said:
  1. I like to bake and make up recipes.
  2. I am an EMT-A and worked on a volunteer ambulance service for five years. (Good woman to have around.)
  3. At one time, I owned over 150 chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, and other assorted fowl.
  4. All four of my current pets are named after sweet foods.
  5. I once laid 1800 square foot of tile flooring in a building we owned. (Heather in a bottle-better than 5-hour energy!)

Snippet

I know you were waiting for this one. Here's the snippet from One Winter Night by Heather Tullis: Jonah stared at the invoice and wondered where he was going to come up with the money. Was there any prayer that he would make enough in the opening two weeks of the gallery to actually pay the incoming bills? Never mind the artists’ commission on top of the expenses. His friends were putting a lot of trust in him and he didn't want to let them, or himself, down. He didn't know how to do anything but draw and paint—or at least that's what he'd believed. When he lost that, he'd realized he had learned a few things at his college job, and there was this option. If he hadn't made so many contacts and so many friends, the gallery wouldn't have been an option. Only now he had to make good on his promises, and with a little over a week until the gallery opened, he wasn't sure that was possible. If sheer desire could make it happen, he would have no need to worry, but that wasn't enough, and the prep on the building still wasn't done. He just hoped the advertising and word of mouth he'd been working on would bring people in—no matter what condition the building was in on opening day. He filed the invoice to deal with after he'd made a deposit or two then walked back out to the showroom. The work to restore the space had finished only a week earlier, and he'd been busy framing pictures and uncrating items since. It was going slower than he had expected. Then again, maybe that had something to do with Sam—his nineteen-year-old employee, who apparently seemed to think the start time for work was flexible. Jonah sighed and checked his watch again. He only trusted the kid to work for a couple more days, and then he'd have to let him go. Sam wasn't a terrible employee, but he wasn't exactly stellar, either, and he wasn't someone Jonah trusted to handle some of the more valuable pieces—especially after some of the less graceful moves the kid had made: knocking over displays, dropping one canvas, and breaking one side support, making Jonah re-stretch it. Jonah got back to work on a frame for one of his own paintings, one he'd done a couple of years earlier. It had been far too long since he'd put paint to canvas. Or maybe it had just been too long since he'd been able to do anything that wasn't plain mediocre. He ached for the way painting used to make him feel. He looked at the painting of a mother and child playing in the park and remembered the way he'd planned the longer sweeping strokes, the care he'd used to select the perfect shades of color and the way instinct, coupled with years of practice had guided his hand. This piece had gotten attention at the previous gallery where it had been placed, but it was one of three pieces that hadn't sold during the consignment period, and when Jonah had been unable to produce anything else, the gallery owner had offered to let him take them back. Now he wasn't sure if it was more painful to see it as a reminder of what he'd lost, or more hopeful as a reminder that he might, someday, have it again. He was almost loathe to sell the three final paintings, though he desperately needed the money. Like painting, framing was both art and science, and took his concentrated effort. Thankfully, it didn't seem to need as much of the muse as painting had, though he could become just as engrossed. Another thirty minutes passed before Jonah thought about Sam again, then, irritated, he picked up his phone to call the kid. Sam answered the phone, his words tripping over themselves. “Oh, Jonah, I'm so sorry. I should have called, I just wasn't thinking.” “You weren't thinking that you were nearly an hour late for work?” Jonah knew he wasn't succeeding very well at keeping the irritation from his voice. “I was in an accident on the way there.” His voice held a slightly shaky quality. “I didn't think to call you. I'm so sorry. It's been crazy.” Jonah set down the stack of matting samples, focusing closer on the conversation. “What happened, are you okay?” “I broke my leg. The x-rays just came back. The doc says it's going to be a couple of weeks before I'm up and around. Even then I'll probably have crutches. I still have to get my cast. I'm sorry I won't be able to help you out any more.” Jonah felt bad for his earlier irritation. “Oh, man, that's terrible. Do you have someone there for you?” Not that he could afford to lose even a little more work time if Sam was already out of the picture, but no one deserved to sit at the hospital by themselves. “My sister is coming from Albany to pick me up. I'll visit her for a while. My car is totaled. Not sure how I'll get around. Idiot driver hit me at the intersection.” “Don't worry about work. I'm sorry this happened to you. Take care of yourself.” Jonah wished him well and ended the call. He did feel bad for Sam, but dang it, he didn't know what he was going to do without the help. Sam was only hired on a temporary basis, but Jonah went from somewhat overwhelmed to super stressed in a heartbeat. “Eighteen-hour days, here I come.” He remembered his grandma was expecting a visit in a little while and decided to put it off today. She would understand if he had to change his visiting schedule to every-other day until the gallery was up and running. The thought made him feel bad, but he didn't have much choice at this point. He picked up the phone to call her.

Lucy McConnell

I met Lucy McConnell (aka my dear friend Christina Dymock) as we were signing books at The Book Table. All I can say is - kindred spirits. I instantly wanted to be her friend and she has been an amazing support to me for the past two years. I just adore her and it doesn't hut that I love each of her books, especially her Billionaire Bride series (read it, you will be in heaven).

Award-winning and Bestselling Author Lucy McConnell

Christina Young Chef Author Photo

Lucy McConnell has always been a reader and a writer. Her mom says that when she was little she would staple pages together to make books. Even at a young age she was thinking about page count. :) Once she's started a first draft, it consumes her thoughts until it's done. Lucy loves Christmas and was part of the Christmas in Snow Valley Anthology that led to Summer in Snow Valley and she's currently working on the Spring in Snow Valley Anthology. Her series, Billionaire Marriage Brokers, has reached number one in seven categories on Amazon and her cookbook, The Hungry Family Slow Cooker Cookbook, written under the name Christina Dymock, won the Utah Best of State Award. You can connect with Lucy at http://lucymcconnell.wordpress.com where you can sign up for her newsletter to receive delicious recipes and get the latest news about her releases.

On the Lighter Side

Here are five fun facts about Lucy and her Echo Ridge story:
  1. She has naturally curly hair. You wouldn't know it from her author photo-but her curl is something to reckon with.
  2. She hides York Peppermint Patties in her desk drawer.
  3. She sews her own dresses and skirts.
  4. Her 7 year old can ski better than she can--but she'll keep trying.
  5. She's a compulsive baker.

Snippet

Here's a sneak peak and Lucy's book, The Candy Counter Heiress:

Reese had a hard time holding up her end of the kiss because she couldn’t stop smiling. And what woman wouldn’t smile when she felt irresistible? Andy did that for her. Not just by kissing her, but by saying the words she needed to hear.

Robyn, a friend and Kenworth’s employee walked by and whistled, and then Andy was smiling as big as she was.

“Okay. I’m really going this time.” He brushed his lips across her cheek but didn’t let go of her. “You’d better.” Reese hooked her hands together behind his neck and pulled him in for another tummy-sizzler kiss.
“I’m headed for the door,” said Andy, never releasing his hold.
“Don’t forget your tie,” replied Reese, hanging on just as tight and returning his kisses between words.
The bell sounded, signaling the opening of the store. Reese slid her hands down Andy’s neck and chest. She let them rest there for several seconds, enjoying the feel of his chest against her palms, before gently pushing him back, if only so she could catch her breath. Andy allowed her to put a few inches between them.
“Sorry,” he said, though his grin didn’t look at all apologetic or chagrined for instigating the most scandalous PDA Kenworth’s had seen in quite some time. Pressing his lips to her forehead, he pulled his arms back and started walking away backwards.
“I’m going to buy this tie.” He held up the red one.
Reese shook her head. “Nope.”
Andy looked down and switched hands. “This tie. And then I have a meeting, and you’re closing tonight and working tomorrow morning, so I will see you at six at your apartment.”
“I’ll be ready.” Oh boy, would she be ready. Andy wasn’t going to know what hit him

Lord Fenton's Folly by Josi Kilpack

Lord Fenton's FollyLord Fenton's Folly by Josi Kilpack Lord Fenton is a gambler, a dandy, and a flirt-and he must marry or else he will be disinherited, stripped of his wealth and his position. He chooses Alice Stanbridge for two simple reasons: he once knew her as a young girl, and she is the least objectionable option available to him. However, Alice has harbored feelings for Fenton since their first meeting ten years ago, and she believes his proposal is real. When she discovers it is not, she is embarrassed and hurt. However, a match with the most-eligible bachelor in London would secure not only her future but that of her family as well. Determined to protect herself from making a fool of herself a second time, Alice matches Lord Fenton wit for wit and insult for insult as they move toward a marriage of convenience that is anything but a happy union. Only when faced with family secrets that have shaped Fenton's life does he let down his guard enough to find room in his heart for Alice.
My Review:
I loved the growth of the characters in this book, but my favorite part by far was Fenton's respect and love for his mother. It was so touching and I just knew that a man who was that sweet with his mother would grow into the kind of man that Alice needed and wanted.
Fabulous romance and family drama. Definitely would recommend it, especially if you enjoy historical romance.

Excerpt Fenton groaned and put his saucer back on the tray, making an instantaneous decision that eased his mind quite a lot. To look at every woman he met as a potential wife was irritating, and after only two weeks he was quite tired of it. Perhaps the solution was to orchestrate a match that would not lay all aspects of matrimony at his feet all at once. Perhaps treating it as a business arrangement would help it to be exactly that, thereby freeing him from all the discomfiting realities he was not yet prepared to face. "I leave for Fentonview on Tuesday and shan't be back for a week. Courting is such a boring prospect, and you yourself said that to become infatuated with anyone might become a complication." He paused, considered one last time what he was going to say next, and decided he felt as good about it as could be expected. "You like Alice Stanbridge and feel she would make a good wife for me?" Lady Chariton looked confused and perhaps a bit concerned. "I do, but-" "Then that is good enough for me," Fenton said, rising to his feet and smiling broadly at his mother, who stared back at him in surprise. "I do find her appealing and what's more she is not a silly little thing without a practical thought in her head." His mother's eyes widened and her eyebrows rose upon her forehead. Fenton struck a pose of consternation, with his thumb and forefinger on his chin as he looked toward the window a moment, then nodded crisply and turned back to his mother who still looked shocked by his pronouncement. "Yes, I think that Alice Stanbridge is exactly what I should like in a wife, and so I shall see to it before I leave for Hampshire-I see no reason to wait until Michaelmas and might as well get it over with." He leaned in and kissed his mother's hand. "Thank you for your help, Mama. I shall let you know how she responds to my proposal." add to goodreads JosiAuthor Josi Kilpack Josi S. Kilpack hated to read until her mother handed her a copy of The Witch of Blackbird Pond when she was 13. From that day forward, she read everything she could get her hands on and credits her writing “education” to the many novels she has “studied” since then. Rachelle J. Christensen

Rachelle J. Chistensen is another author from the Echo Ridge Anthology (available here for just 99 cents!). I just loved Rachelle from the first moment we met. We were signing together at Borders in Logan (does anyone else miss Borders?) and she was expecting and not feeling well, but it didn't matter. She still looked beautiful and had a smile that just made me want to be her friend. Since then I've become a huge fan of not just Rachelle but her amazing books, they are just my style - funny, romantic, and very suspenseful.

Award-winning and Bestselling Author Rachelle J. Christensen.

1rachelleweb Rachelle J. Christensen is a mother of five who writes romance and mystery/suspense and solves the case of the missing shoe on a daily basis. She graduated cum laude from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) with a degree in psychology and a minor in music. She enjoys singing and songwriting, playing the piano, running, motivational speaking, and, of course, reading. Rachelle is the award-winning author of six books, including Wrong Number, Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things, and What Every 6th Grader Needs to Know, as well as the Rone Award-winning novella Silver Cascade Secrets. She and her family just moved to a farm in Idaho. Like--just barely. They are still unpacking and in the middle of all that she's writing and marketing and managing a career. If ever there was a superwoman... On the lighter side

I asked Rachelle to share five random facts about herself or her story and this is what she said:
  1. Rachelle loves multi-colored Christmas lights on the tree and as a child used to love getting under the tree and looking up through the branches at the lights and ornaments. (Me too! We should have hung out! or under as the case may be.)
  2. Her first visit to New York state was when she was seven months pregnant with her fourth child and attending a writing conference in Chautauqua. She also visited Niagara Falls. (See Superwoman!!)
  3. She met her husband on Halloween at Utah State University.
  4. Rachelle loves chickens and cats and they get along well together on her little farm in Idaho.
  5. She is brainstorming the next novella for Echo Ridge and is super excited to tell the next love story from New York.

Snippet

I'm so excited to share this snippet from Rachelle's Hope for Christmas: “Stupid Christmas tree,” she muttered. If it weren’t for Megan, she’d skip Christmas altogether. The holiday was a slap in the face to someone like Anika— a divorced, single mom with a deadbeat ex. She hadn’t been able to locate Jimmy after he’d been released from jail the last time, but she was tired of hiding from him. When she moved to Echo Ridge a year ago, she decided a fresh start would be the best solution to her problems. The sleepy little New York town had been full of promises and hope, but after losing her job two months ago when Megan was hospitalized with pneumonia, everything had changed. Although the state had helped pay for Megan’s treatment, Anika had fallen farther and farther behind. Her chest tightened when she thought about what was around the next corner. This job was temporary, and Anika had run out of options. If she didn’t find something soon, she’d be evicted from her one bedroom apartment. She pulled the tree trunk upright and began putting together the sections of the tree. It took much longer than it should have with bits of the white flock crumbling and sticking to her clothes. One of the branches refused to straighten, the end was all twisted and it took her nearly ten minutes to smooth out the kinks. Anika grumbled to herself about the fake tree and its apparent mission to annoy her by not snapping together correctly. She fiddled with the pre-lit strands that had to be connected in several places. There were three different cords to test the lights, but she couldn’t get them all to work together. The box said the lights were supposed to twinkle, but Anika couldn’t even get more than one strand to turn on at a time. She grumbled and stepped back— on Megan’s dolls. Anika’s foot turned, she gasped, and fell forward into the tree with a shriek. Before she could react to the fake evergreen needles poking her in the face, strong hands pulled her back from the mass of lights and cords. “Are you hurt?” Anika blinked and looked up at the man who had spoken. Her mouth opened and closed, and she shook her head. If Enrique Iglesias had come to her rescue then she was definitely going to thank the blasted Christmas tree. She rubbed a hand over her face and saw that he wasn’t Enrique, but with the shadow of scruff along his chin and his slightly mussed black hair against caramel skin, he could be Enrique’s younger brother. Anika shook her head. She was gawking, and hadn’t answered his question. “I’m not sure,” she said. “Let’s get you away from this tree. I don’t think it likes you.” He cupped his hand under her forearm, carefully lifting her off the ground. Anika winced when she put weight on her foot. “Ouch. I kind of twisted my ankle.” “Sit down right here and I can take a look at it.” His dark hair matched his chocolate brown eyes and Anika found herself wondering again if Enrique did have a younger brother. He helped her sit, leaning next to the wood paneling of her checkout station. He crouched down and held out his hand. “I’m Carlos Rodriguez. I’m a volunteer fireman, so I have some medical training. Mind if I take a look?” He had a Spanish accent, not heavy, but alluring, and Anika listened to him appreciatively. “Oh, it’s just my ankle. I’m sure it’ll be fine in a few minutes.” Anika winced again when she moved her toes. “My name’s Anika Fletcher.” She held out her hand and Carlos shook it, his grip firm, yet gentle at the same time. Anika tore her eyes away from him and reached down to examine her ankle. It didn’t appear to be swelling, but every tendon around the bone ached. Maybe she should have him look at it. “Ugh, this is just what I didn’t need tonight.” She leaned over and massaged the tender side of her ankle. It wouldn’t cost her anything to have him look at it. “Okay, maybe I’d better have you look.” She moved back so that Carlos could see her ankle. He leaned over and gently pulled her pant leg up. His fingers were warm, and he pressed lightly around her ankle. Anika’s heart sped up— it was hard to ignore the flutter in her stomach as he carefully examined her foot. He looked over at her and smiled. “There might be a little swelling later, but it’s a good sign that it’s not turning colors. You need to ice it and wrap it to stabilize the area.” Anika let out the breath she’d been holding when he released her foot. “Okay, thanks for your help. I was trying to get that dang tree figured out. It definitely doesn’t like me and the feeling is mutual.” Carlos walked over to the tree, now standing almost ten feet tall, and shifted a few branches. Then he crouched down by the electrical outlet. “You know, this could be considered a fire hazard.”

Movie Rating: PG for violence
Genre: Western Suspense

Available on KindleNook

108 years in the making! What if you came home after a journey and your family was no longer there? What if someone else was living in your house, running what you used to manage—and trying to kill you?
Wade Forester must stay in the shadows because, it seems, everyone has reason to shoot him. His father has disappeared, and his sister won’t speak a word to anyone. Beautiful Patricia Laughlin is searching for her family as well. Few people gain her trust or approval, though powerful landowner Bridger Calhoun just might be the man to do it.
After a clash throws them to opposite sides, Wade must decide if risking his life to help Patricia is worth the trouble. Bridger must win Patricia’s heart, and Patricia must learn which killer to trust with her life.
Set in Nevada’s historic silver rush, and reminiscent of Crichton, Grey, and L’Amour, the writing comes from intimate knowledge of the era and area. Having lived off the land, Wilcox depended on his wit, grit, and strength—and that of his animals—for survival, just as these characters do. Wilcox and Beckstrand weave authentic detail and care for the terrain and its creatures into a mystery that will make your heart pound and fill your lungs with the “rarefied air” of the old Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Comes with additional short story.

Want to make millions (or even billions) as an entrepreneur in just 18 months?

So did I. And I used to read anything that promised it.

It was a constant disappointment. Time after time I would read these books feeling like I couldn't apply or reproduce their efforts.

But after 10 years of struggling, something finally clicked. I signed up over 100,000 users for what started out as just a side project, raised almost $10 million, and ended up having my company acquired.

So what did I do differently?

The real question you should be asking is what I DIDN'T do to find success in failure.

In every field, from chess to gymnastics, we can make bigger gains by reducing mistakes than by making winning moves. This is especially true in business. We study the greats, trying to extract valuable lessons, when avoiding a few key blunders would be more valuable.

Fortunately, advice on what not to do is universally applicable. The ways to fall down the mountain are shared by all climbers, no matter which path they've chosen.

This book is here to teach you how NOT to fall down the mountain.

How can you be an entrepreneur that beats the odds? How do you build a successful business that not only changes the world for the better, but creates generational wealth for you and your family? You simply need to avoid mistakes -- and this book will show you how.

Creatures that were once thought of as myth are now refugees striving to adapt to life on earth. Trouble is, after eons of living forever, they're not very good at being mortal.

Caught in the middle is Jean-Luc, a struggling hotelier who (reluctantly) promised to help these wayward 'Others' live in this new GoneGod world. And now that an unusually strange Other is in town, his figurative demise might soon become more literal.

Death, Life, or Love—Unbounded Always Play for Keeps

There are only two ways to kill Unbounded, and fire isn’t one of them—as law school dropout Erin Radkey learns the hard way. By fluke of a recessive gene, she has become Unbounded, a nearly immortal being with paranormal abilities.

Erin’s Change separates her from her loved ones and alters everything she believes to be true. A week earlier she was considering a marriage proposal; now she contemplates the best way to stay alive. Caught in a battle between two Unbounded groups, the Emporium and the Renegades, she is also hunted by a secret mortal society sworn to eradicate the Unbounded gene.

As Erin plunges into this dangerous new life, she must carve out her own place in the madness, protect her mortal family, and decide which group she should join. Her unique ability is vital to both groups in the race to secure an identification software that spells death for all Unbounded—or enslavement for the entire mortal world. Some will stop at nothing to use Erin as one more pawn in a battle that has spanned centuries. Erin’s undeniable attraction to Ritter Langton, whose family was massacred by opposing Unbounded two hundred and forty years ago, complicates her choices. There are no second chances. Death, life, or love—Unbounded always play for keeps.

Non-stop action, terrifying consequences, and powerful romance make The Change an exciting addition to the world of romantic urban fantasy.
