This is a very personal post for me. As many of you know we were in a horrific car accident June 5th and my 15yo son Pizza (Phoenix) suffered a traumatic brain injury, crushed skull and eye socket, among other breaks to his face. His frontal lobe was without oxygen for five hours before a miraculous surgery and the removal of his skull.

There were so many miracles throughout both of his intense surgeries and his stay in the ICU and trauma unit. We have every faith and hope that Pizza will soar back to full health and be whatever God needs him to be.

I can never thank you all enough for the prayers and love and concern!

I have a hard time thinking about the accident, thankfully I was knocked unconscious and unable to move so I didn't see my boy in such a terrifying state. We were so blessed by and grateful for all the first responders and then the medical experts who saved Pizza's life. We spent three weeks in Primary Children's Medical Center surrounded by earthly and heavenly angels. The peace we felt was unreal.

To attempt and give back I created this First Responders Collection and am selling it for only $.99 or FREE in Kindle Unlimited. All proceeds will be donated to Primary Children's Ronald McDonald Family Room, our home away from home.

Thank you all for the support, love, and especially the prayers,

Cami

The Doctor Prince and the Outsider

Fleeing from the people who framed her for murder, billionaire heiress Hattie Ballard crashes her paraglider straight into the care of Dr. Steffan August. This handsome royal E.R. doctor will have to risk his own safety, his medical ethics, and his heart to protect her from the dangerous men tracking her down.

Don't Ditch a Detective

World-traveling humanitarian Cassie Strong accidentally pepper-sprays Park City detective Jed Beckham, sparking a wildly unexpected romance. Their devoted bond is put to the ultimate test when Cassie's charitable mission trip places her in the crosshairs of a terrifying attack at an orphanage.

The Wedding Fiasco

Wedding planner Aubrey Sorenson is thrilled to reconnect with her longtime crush, firefighter and handyman Wade Gem. Unfortunately, their romantic second chance is wildly interrupted when they are forced to dodge kidnappers and survive gunfights tied to Wade's manipulative friend.

Only Her Smokejumper Firefighter

The Devoted Firefighter

What Readers Are Saying About The Stranded Hiker

"Awesome story of love, commitment and faith. I love how protective, kind and committed Smith was with Hannah. The love was so true, he was willing to put everything aside to be with her and protect her. Hannah was definitely a force to recon with. Her vivacious personality, unfailing but testing, faith , and willingness to do what was right keeps Smith on his toes. Smiths strong reaction to Hannah kept him a little or maybe a lot off balance. I must admit I was immediately draw into this story.

Great read, beautiful love story. Fantastic intrigue." Julia L.

"I stayed up way too late to finish this book. You can take that as a very high recommendation. Smith deserved a wonderful story and he found it when the stranger washed up on his ranch. Hannah was an adventurous woman, but witnessing a murder left her running for her life. She didn’t realize her worst experience could lead her to a place she felt safe, until the inevitable happens. Read the book to find out if Smith can save her." Karen B.

"I thoroughly enjoyed this fun book! There was fun action throughout, not just at the end. And what a gentleman! But most of her males are! I love brave Hannah! She was mature and yes sweetly innocent but went after what she wanted! Smith and Hannah are the best couple! I am excited for the next one!" Rainwater

Excerpt: The Stranded Hiker:

She bent and tugged at her wet shoelaces, wincing, she must’ve hit some rocks on her ride down the river.

Smith kneeled in front of her and murmured, “I’ve got it.”

Hannah stared in awe as this lean muscled cowboy pried her wet shoelaces out of their knots and gently cupped her calf, sliding each shoe off. She’d never been treated with such tenderness.

“Thank you,” she murmured when he set her shoes to the side and straightened.

“Happy to,” he said, giving her an appealing and almost shy look. Did this cowboy not have much experience with women? That didn’t fit with how appealing he was.

She wanted to get lost in his dark eyes, but that wasn’t smart with the mess she was in. Looking around, she thought of Thad. The friendly dog had curled up on a doggy bed in the garage, not coming into the house with them.

“Thad stays in the garage?” she asked, needing to redirect before she did something crazy like hug him in appreciation.

“You don’t want to know what Thaddeus gets into.” He ran his hand through his hair. “Nobody would want that old boy’s muddy and poopy paws in the house.”

She laughed. “Thaddeus?”

“Thaddeus Thatch. I had an Atlantis obsession as a teenager. He’s my only animal not named after a king or queen.” He shrugged, looking uncomfortable and somehow adorable. If a tough cowboy could look adorable.

She smiled. “Because of course your animals are royalty.”

“Exactly.”
