Remembering 9/11

📷

Today my flowers and flag are drooping and the sky is gray and weepy. I'm feeling gray and weepy myself. It's impossible to not remember exactly where I was and how it felt when I heard about the tragedies of this day eighteen years ago. I was holding my oldest son, he was two and so full of life and happiness. He didn't understand why I couldn't stop crying. Holding him brought me the only comfort I remember that day. Today I'm praying for the families and friends who lost loved ones and I'm also praying for our country. May we remember how it felt that day and as we grew closer and united in the days and months after the attacks. May we forget our differences and realize we have more in common than we know. I love America and I love the people who call America home. May we all remember and come closer together. Blessings to you and yours, Cami
